Music & Spoken Word

Cabaret Voltage is proud to feature three musicians from the Salt Lake City area.

The first sounds will be the spoken word of c.a. leibow and a collaborative piece by Leibow and Chaz Prymek

The second sounds will be an exciting newcomer to the Salt Lake scene, Chaz Prymek a local acoustic guitarist who weaves some wonderfuly subtle and at times powerful guitar compositions.

Then you will be fortunate to hear the free-jazz riffs of the Ken Critchfield Seraphim, an amazing local jazz band that has played at the original Cabaret Voltage many times. “Seraphim” was chosen as identifier for the group because of the simultaneous association with mythic concepts of heaven and creation – creating order from disorder – as well as with destroying angels, returning order back to chaos.

Finally you will have a chance to hear Yogi Ferrara’s original dance mix riffs. Originally from New York, and currently in Salt Lake City as part of the witness protection program
